I do dislike it here on this Earth, and can't wait till I am out. But then I thought: what if it is even worse up there?

This material world is a reflection of the spiritual world. The material world is but a shadow of reality. In the shadow there is no reality or substantiality, but from the shadow we can understand that there are substance and reality. In the desert there is no water, but the mirage suggests that there is such a thing as water. In the material world there is no substantial happiness, but the real actual happiness is there in the spiritual world. This material world is only a phantasmagoria of the spiritual kingdom of the Lord, and because it is a shadow it is never eternal; the variegatedness in the material world of duality (spirit and matter) cannot be compared to that of the spiritual world.
This material life is our diseased condition.
So when we are in the healthy condition, that is called spiritual, full of knowledge, bliss and eternal.
Never worse.
Don't think like a diseased man. He is always drinking bitter medicine, lying on the bed and passing stool in the bed. Very miserable condition. So he wants to commit suicide. So he cannot understand that after being cured from the disease, he will eat very nicely, he will lie down on the bed very nicely, have no miserable condition of life.

I'm so sorry you dislike your life here on earth. I so hope you find your way and come to realize how very special you are. In regard to the last part of your statement, 'what if it is worse up there'.... I would like to explain that a little bit. Apparently, you believe in eternal life (life after death). Well that is true, there is life after death. But if you're referring to heaven, heaven is not necessarily a 'place', heaven is where Jesus is. And the believer in Jesus, is assurred - assured he/she will be with Jesus throughout eternity. And it will indeed, dear one, be so much better than here on earth. But your life can be very beautiful here on earth, especially as a Christian, because Jesus gives us His Spirit to live inside us. And His Spirit is our teacher, comforter and guide throughout life. And God (Jesus) wants us to have an abundant life, filled with love and joy. He has great things planned for you here.... so I suggest that you talk to Him and cultivate a relationship with Him, so you can experience the beauty of His love here on earth now.... the future, for the Christian is taken care of. The first thing you need to figure out is a you going up there, to Heaven that is. Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, have you ask the good Lord to forgive you of your sins, the Bibles says in Romans 3:23, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, Romans 3:10 says, none is righteous, no not one. In order to go to Heaven you have to be born again, in the book of John 3:3, Jesus says except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of Heaven. Can you admit to Christ that you are a sinner, can you admit that Jesus died on a cross for you and you need his grace and mercy to be born again. If you believe in Jesus you can be saved right now, just say this simple sinners pray believing in Christ, Romans 10:13 says that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, just say this Prayer calling upon his name, Dear Jesus, I know and confess that I am sinner in need of salvation. I believe you died on a cross at calvery and arose from the grave to wash away my sins, I ask you right now to come into my heart and save me, I pray this Prayer believing in the name of Jesus Amen. If you prayed this prayer with a sincere heart your question has been answered, if not, then you need to really think about which way your life is headed. Paradise awaits all who believe and want to serve Jesus Christ. AMEN

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, who is your Saviour, you will be in heaven when you die and it will be SO much better. But God gave us life to enjoy it to the fullest too. Please do try to get some counseling. Life can be good too.
