Anyone know what im talking about? I heard a guy got punched, he acted shooked up and played possum a little and when his opponent approached, he knocked him out, if you can link the video you get 10 points!!

Scott Smith took a body shot from Pete Sell and when Pete rushed in to finish, Scott threw a punch that KTFO of Pete.

Chris Leben fought Terry Martin last night, not sure he played Possum, he legitimately got rocked and just came back and turned it on going crazy on his @ss, and knocked him out cold.
I wouldn't doubt that something like this has happened in another MMA match to the degree that someone actually faked it enough.

While I don't have the fight for you this is an old trick to get your opponent to move in aggressively while you are set and as he exposes himself you catch him coming in. The fact that he is coming in and you are set increases the impact of your punches and also it can be used to get him to expend more of his energy as you gradually give ground so that you can take advantage of him in the later rounds. I have used both tactics successfully at different times against lesser experienced or over emotional fighters during my full contact and sport karate career.

Leben wasn't faking either. He was seriously rocked and close to being knocked out. If Terry Martin kept punching him, Leben would have been knocked out.
