I've heard before that in real Life Andy Griffith is mean (star of the Andy Griffith show and matlock) I don't think I've ever believed it really he just seems so nice on tv but maybe that is what he wants people to think. who knows the truth?

According to Ron Howard, he was great to work with - always showed him a lot of respect even when he was a kid. Haven't ever heard anything bad about the man - he was at Don Knotts' (Barney Fife) side when he died as they had been friends since before his show.

i met andy griffith once, he was very nice to me and my mom.. i think any star can have a bad day, or be in a rush and not have time to chat or sign autoghraphs, someone probably caught him at abad moment..

i have met many celebs who were not a friendly as i had hoped.. i never hold it against them... i always remember the ones who were nice and rememeber my name.. patty duke is one and andy griffith is another..
