Wormwood

'And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.'

What do you think hit Peru?

Ah Crimmson, how I've missed you. Thanks for sharing.

I personally think it's a meteorite.

Maybe it was your integrity crashing to Earth?

"Evidence is mounting that a meteorite really did strike Peru last Saturday: A scientist from Peru's Geological, Mining and Metallurgical Institute says that a chondritic space rock lies at the bottom of the water-filled crater near the Peru-Bolivia border. In a related development, Peru's Regional Health Directorate reports an outbreak of dizziness, nausea and dermal injuries among people who have visited the impact site. The injuries are "not serious," according Regional Health Director Jorge López."

Wormwood just means "star" or "angel" in greek, but certain commentators have held that this "great star" represents one of several important figures in political or ecclesiastical history, while other Bible dictionaries and commentaries view the term as a reference to a celestial being. A number of Bible scholars consider the term Wormwood to be a purely symbolic representation of the bitterness that will fill the earth during troubled times, noting that the plant for which Wormwood is named, Artemisia absinthium, is a known Biblical metaphor for things that are unpalatably bitter

actually that spaceweather report came yesterday. today it was reported that a rocky meteorite had been found. however there is a lot of questions about the illness. it is strange because meteorites usually do not go into the earth far enough to release noxious gases. amino acids, the building blocks of dna and rna have been found on them before so it is technically possible for an aliend virus to be transported, but it sounds like the illnesses were immediate

You really are nothing but a troll aren't you.

Actually they say the total opposite:

Their top new item from yesterday.

What has been confirmed is that it was not a satalite or any of the pieces of space junk that are tracked.

So, do you have the honor or the guts to admit that you are totally wrong? Or at least pull this question?

How did you go from 200 people having headaches to 1/3 of the waters becoming wormwood and many men dying?

It was a giant ball of chlorine gas that was dropped from a CIA spy satellite.

But since I haven't heard of any ocean or river turning to wormwood, I guess they have to scale up the program.

when I read that article yesterday, crimmson, I immediately thought of you! lol

It's pretty scary for certain. Again, I don't believe the book of revalations was as much prophecy as it was wishful thinking against the contemparary situation John was in.

I find myself reminded of the book "The Andromeda Strain".
