If he doesn't eat pork for religious reasons you should NOT contaminate his food. But if it is just because he feels it's not good for him, it wouldn't hurt. In the future tho, you should try not to mix his chicken with your pork. Just use some fresh oil and keep it to the side for later use if necessary (although I throw mine out after I use it once)

No-he is not exaggerating. I don't like pork either. When my mother-in-law cooks it, I can't be in the house. He probably won't get sick if he eats chicken cooked in pork grease, but he probably won't appreciate it. Next time, be kind & use oil or butter.

My step dad is 7th Day Adventist & does not eat pork & some seafoods.
For your boyfriend it may be a religious choice, or he just doesn't like pork. Either way, I highly doubt eating the chicken will hurt him in ANY way, but why haven't you ever asked him why he does not eat pork? I guess it could be possible he has an allergy, but I have never heard of a pork allergy.....Who knows!

Why take the chance of giving the chicken flavor from the pork grease? You know he doesn't like pork...respect that and use fresh grease.

if he doesn't eat pork, you shouldn't use pork grease to cook your chicken either especially if he's a muslim. you can use butter to grease. some people really don't eat pork. and some even can't smell of it

He might not be exaggerating. However, that's one thing you just have to realize. If you still like pork even though he doesn't want it around, you have a decision to make. If going furthur along with him means giving up pork, will you be willing to live with that? People are different. If this really bothers you, you might just have to break up with him.

Probably not. I have issues with pork also. He may need to have his gall bladder checked.
I would not use the grease from pork chops. While it usually will probably not get absorbed by the chicken enough to make him sick, why take the chance?

It shouldn't make him sick unless he can taste the pork flavor from the oil. He might. Many processed pork products ( like bacon and sausage) are smoked and it might be something in those he is tasting.

He wont' get sick. It will probably upset him though that you used pork products in something he ate if you didn't let him know before he ate it. Especially if he doesn't eat it because of religious or ethical reasons.
