Mine does too. I took her to the vet and they said sometimes she has hard stools, so we are giving her fish oil capsules in her food.
I am 48 years old and have owned cats all my life, 3 and four at a time. I have NEVER given a cat a bath. EVER. Use Frontline if you have a flea problem. If there's no flea problem, the cat can take care of himself or you can take him to a groomer every couple of months.

#1 take him to the vet to make sure he doesn't have any infection or anything.
#2 if it's an enclosed litterbox, he might be scared of it. try an uncovered litterbox.
#3 maybe he's just shouty :)
#4 why are you bathing your cat? they clean themselves. 99.99% of cats HATE water, no wonder he meows. stop giving him a bath, the only time he would need one is if he was severely infested with fleas ticks and parasites. if he just has fleas, use frontline.

Please take your kitten to the vet to be sure he doesn't have any medical problems in that area. Cats meow like that when their afraid or when they're in pain, so don't delay. You're a good owner to be concerned when something is unusual.
As a cat breeder, I have to bathe my cats before I can take them to a cat show. Otherwise I wouldn't bathe them unless it is absolutely necessary. I've found that some cats just don't wash as thoroughly as others and may need a bath, though.

Let me guess---is this a Siamese or mixed Siamese? If so, they're "mouthy" and they'll meow (pitifully---their normal voice) for any reason to get attention--or sometimes just to hear themselves. In a cat this young I doubt that he could have a urinary tract infection, but if this continues--and he doesn't seem to do it any other time, except when he's using the litter box, then it's time to take him to the vet to see if there really is a serious problem. Hope all is OK with this little one.

Is there any blood in her feces? She may be "constipated" and having a hard time going to the "litter box". I'm not a vet though. With anything like this you should not rely on someone on Yahoo. Take you pet to a vet.

He may have a urinary tract infection which burns when they pee jsut like it would for you if you had one. Or hard stools. Take to the vet and get checked for urinary infection and feed fish oil caplets. Just break one open and add it to the food. It may soften the stool

My cats do that too sometimes. I don't know why but they aren't sick and they aren't going outside of the litter box so I pretty much have gotten used to it.
If it sounds like he's in pain I would ask your vet.
