We had someone from the council pest control to put rat poison down and now it relly stinks of mice. But how can we find them to get rid of them? Weve looked in the bathroom cupboard where theyve been hiding and theres no sign. Would the pest control people be able to help in any way? I cant stand the smell!!

Wait for them to dry out, usually lasts a week or so then the smell will go away! they will be under the floor boards.

If you have had the council pest control, get them back and let them know you have got mice also the rat poison that they put down is beginning to smell, they should come back and do it for you.

go to the area of your rm where the smell is the strongest, you gotta find it first. If you have carpet in your room get some Arm & Hammer carpet deodorizer to put on floor, maybe some Febreeze spray for rm. if you have floors that can be mopped, use some Lysol floor cleaner (Lemon scent) is what I like best. I had one under bakers rack in Kitchen and it worked really good. Happy hunting?

Can u crawl under your home?? We had one that we have no idea crawled up into the wall and died...we wasnt about to tear out the wall to get to it because we wasnt sure if it really was in the wall.. We crawled under the house and went up in the addick...we could never find it..well in a couple of weeks the mouse smell was gone. The smell will go away.

If it was someone from the council then they should deal with it til the job is done properly and it clearly isnt. I would call them back out to fix this too

Dyson them up lol

No they should dry out quite quickly and the smell will go away then.

It is most likely mice urine you can smell, it's not nice but use some detol spray.

Put some mouse traps around the house , they just love chocolate. Failing that buy a CAT.

Check the warmest areas, like boilers. They often go back to their nests before dying.
