You cannot claim benefits in Spain or another other european country. You also cannot claim benefits from UK whilst in another country other than UK and can be prosecuted if you do
The best advice would be to apply from UK for a job in Spain before you go - there are many magazines that advertise for staff in Spain. Also try on the net ie google job vacancies in Spain - sometimes they have jobs in Spain posted in the job centres
Your only other option is take a cheap flight to spain and find cheap accommodation and ask around for jobs available then fly back - pack up and move over

2 questions yet not proper, as they situation diverse places, human beings and stipulations. Gibraltar became taken removed from Spain via a conflict between Britain and Spain. when you consider that that factor, the folk living in Gibraltar have prevented each and all the Franco years and been dealt with as British matters. Britain has, greater recently, pronounced that Gibraltar could be surpassed over to Spain, however the inhabitants of Gibraltar do not prefer to lose their British sovereignty. The Spanish territories in Morocco at the instant are not proper to the situation of Gibraltar. A Treaty relationship lower back to the 1970's publicizes that there'll be no exchange made to worldwide borders, with out the settlement of the inhabitants who would be laid low with the exchange.

So..... you want to be an immigrant in Spain because you're against immigration?
Immigrants in the UK do not "get a free house/food/mobile".
Those from the EU have the same entitlement to certain benefits as Brits if they are working. Those with permanent status here effectively ARE Brits.
In the same way, if you go to Spain, you will have the same right to Spanish benefits as a local in similar circumstances (probably not much - you might prefer France, Germany, or Holland). If you become a permanent resident there, you should be treated exactly like a local.

As we all know England is the only place that dishes out benefits like its water. Sorry to burst your bubble but theres no such thing as JSA in Spain. If you are serious about leaving the UK for Spain then you need to go about it the right way and look for a job beforehand.

immigrants do get free house/food/mobiles/clothes/driving lessons/golf lessons/tickets to concerts and football matches and they are told how to go about it and they can claim for the rest of their family who dont even live in this country and when brits go to make new claims at the benefits office they are made to feel like scum, when was the last time a poor british family were given a large house and it already had all the appliances in ready for use and was paid for by benefits and special places are created for their kids in local schools. a lot of people are already leaving to the outer cities and beyound because of immigrants and mps know it but are scared to talk about it, this country is finished the immigrants will not stop coming here till its resources are bled dry.

Good question ,I thought about asking it my self. I am a pensioner on minimum basic pension . ukstock5 ,you are correct as I have seen the paperwork of a claimant. I wonder at times that I would be better off in another EU country. I worked all my life ,and some one who has not paid in a penny gets more gets more payment from the government. It`s unreal.

Of course not. Its only the stupid english who dish out handouts left right and centre.
Here is a joke for you.
An ethopian man and his family get given a lovely new council house and he is very pleased with it. He decides to go and thank some random English people for their kindness and hospitality. But alas he cannot find any, all day he searches and when he gets home his Pakistani neighbour asks where he has been. He explains and his easten european neighbour on the other side who has overheard laughs and says you won't see any of the English about them idiots are all out at work!!!!!!!!!!!
