The whole issue between Coke and Pepsi actually began all
the way back to the "good ol' days" in 1994 when Jeff won his
first Winston Cup race at Charlotte(1994 Coca-Cola 600)!
His co-sponsor that day: Coke, if you please!! The contract
was short-lived though as next year Pepsi "out-bid"to have exclusive rights to the champ. Coke then went on to re-vamp
their ad campaign by using ten other drivers as a group package of sorts.

Jr. isn't only doing Mountain Dew and AMPS, if you recall, he's driving a Budweiser car. Don't know what sponsor he'll have next year since he will be with the Hendricks racing team. His cousin, Tony Eury, Jr. is going with Dale as his mechanic, but not only that, they are family. Wish he could say the same thing to his step-mother Theresa who wants to keep the 8 car with D.E.I. Don't fret about your tattoos on your arm and back. Just add another 8 to it. Yes, he's gonna drive the 88 car next year.

First off, it's Hendrick Motorsports. A lot of people get that wrong so I'll let it slide. Second, if Jeff Gordon owned it, why would he call it Hendrick Motorsports instead of Gordon Motorsports? Doesn't make sense to me.

yup you got it. Pepsi is associated with Hendrick. It is a very lucrative contract. Remember all the Gatoraide Vs Powerade arguments two seasons ago? It all comes from the Coke vs Pepsi thing

Not entirely. Pepsi products, like Gatorade, also include others. Matt Kenseth and Mark Martin are 2 of them.

I know in 2005 Kasey Kahne's # 9 Dodge used a black Mountain Dew Car on a few occasions. As for today, I do not know.
