The referred search terms will educate you about the wrongful use of authority by ordinary people. They direct you to scientific experiments in sociology that explored the tendency many of us have to abuse power and hurt others in a law enforcement situation.

as anyone who has ever been tasered and you'll hear that
it's not a good experince. most people lose control of bowel and bladder functions. in my home town, tasers are a new toy for the cops here and they seem to have become taser happy. it's pretty common to hear about the latest college party getting busted up and someone getting zapped. i think they need a better policy as to when to use them and what is the right thing to do.

The power of tazers now is sufficient to immobilize a person and still not cause any permanent harm. If you've ever been tazered you know that it overrides your entire electrical system so that you're not able to control any type of movements at all. It doesn't matter whether you're a body builder or on drugs, if your brain gets short-circuited for a moment - you can't fight that. The only people that have died after being tazered were found to either have underlying heart problems and/or were on drugs.

you can buy them in varying voltages currently. I think the highest I have seen personally is 125,000 volt the gun kind, not hand held. Police training videos show football player sized guys dropping lika a sack of stones. I think they are just as effective as they can be.

No, I think once someone has been tased, they might even become MORE sensitive to it.
