No. It'll look fine. The more the better in my book.
But whatever you do don't get it pierced with a gun. Go to a piercing studio. Piercing guns use so much brute force to jam the earring through your ear that it actually breaks the cartilage. Not only will it make healing take twice as long, but it will also leave with you with nasty lumps of red scar tissue that are VERY visible. Not to mention the sanitation issues. Piecing guns can't be sterilized. Although the earring is what actually pierces the ear, skin cells and blood still get onto the gun. To when you get pierced with a gun you run the risk of getting other peoples dried blood and dead skin in your piercing. That can cause BAD infection. Going to a studio will cost a little more but it will be done right, in a sterile environment, by people who actually know what they are doing. If you don't wunna spend the extra cash then you'd be better off doing it your self. Believe it or not, doing it home would be much more sanitary then having it done with a gun.

I have 3 bottom holes and 1 top hole in one ear, and 2 bottom holes, 1 top hole, and an inner ear piercing in the other.
The only thing I would stress is to get your cartilage piercing done by a professional, reputable piercer at a tattoo shop who uses a needle. Piercing guns can shatter your cartilage, and also cannot be properly sterilized. Not to mention the sudden shock to your system can cause you to pass out or go into shock. No fun.

I have had two cartilage piercings, the first one i got at the piercing pagoda and it got infected two months later and I had to take it out cause there was nothing i could do and i have a little bump on my ear now. keep clean use neosporin it wont dry it out i use it for all of my piercings. but just a few months ago i got my other cartilage pierced on my other ear and its fine just keep it clean make sure your hair does not get wrapped around it or your clothes get caught on it and dont lay on it for like a month it hurts. but getting the piercing only hurt for me cause the lady went so freakin slow i could feel it go through each side of my ear, this was at claires, it just all depends on your pain tolerance and who is doing the piercing...good luck

I really do not think it would look odd. I would think it will be beautiful.
Best thing is not to get it done by a gun, go to a shop and get it pierced by a needle. It does not hurt that much, from 1-10 it is a 2.

It would look good but I wouldn't do it. I pierced my cartilage a few years ago. It wasn't infected and it still hurt for months after. I had to sleep with my ear cupped over my hand. I took it out. My tattoos didn't even hurt that bad.

No, it would look good. I had that done too. I think it would look weird if you had the same symetrical piercings on each ear
