rather the main important denominations -- Lutheran, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic, Anglican, etc., have all issued statements endorsing Evolution. Christians do no longer spend all their time knocking Evolution, basically a handful of Creationists do. the final public of Christians interior the international are not American evangelicals, which you seem specializing in. And there have been Christians who've pronounced the misdeeds of different Christians. Why do no longer atheists ever make an apology for the one hundred million individuals that died under communism, thinking communism replaced into created, carried out, and ran by employing atheists (and nonetheless is)? rather, they'll say ingredient like "nicely, the Soviets have been rather Christians" or some thing the two ludicrous. this is greater effective than have died interior the call of all religions prepare (as nicely wars are rather approximately administration of financial materials besides). you will desire to to envision the prestige of your own residence.

Jesus said the rich will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
My opinion is that if they got their money from hoodwinking people who don't know better -- most of them did, Billy Graham being the exception -- then that is wrong.
As for who is going to heaven and who is not, that isn't for me to decide. That's God's business.

I don't think God would have a bad opinion of them as long as they were doing the proper things with their money. There's nothing wrong with Christians prospering, but not at someone else's expense. As for me, I don't care. God is the only one who matters.

In my opinion, I think the Pastor should take that wealth and give it too people who need it. Maybe Africa or a charity.
I do think he should be paid, He needs money to live and we want church--but there has to be a limit somewhere.

I think it was John Wesley who said that if he had a penny to his name when he died, then he'd done something wrong. I don't agree with everything he said, but I like that.
I don't begrudge them a comfortable life, but I think Jesus had some pretty harsh words for rich people.

He would remind them that while they can do great good with that money... all such good involves ridding themselves of it in one form or other, and preferably in ways that will benefit those in need.
