I was surprised to hear a teacher tell a class of 14-16 year olds that she was a witch. I was not surprised by the fact she was, as I already knew this, but didn't expect her to tell this group of young people. I think they thought she was joking though LOL
So did anything happen that surprised you today?

I was at my 14 year old son's school for individual student presentations, in which each student picked a topic and presented it, and one big young man presented the topic "The Pentagram."
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
I sat STRAIGHT up for this. He got a lot of information right, some wrong, but he did talk about the history of the pentagram in Christianity, and how it wasn't always hated and considered a sign of the devil by them. Which is true. I wonder how many modern day Christians are aware of that!
When he started talking, I nudged the mom sitting next to me and showed her the silver pentacle that I was wearing around my neck. She smiled in surprise and it was very cool.
Blessings,

I was surprised I was told on here that I only forgive and accept my own (Muslims). Those who know me, especially in 360-land, know that this is not true. Diane, if you are the same Diane that made me laugh at something (can't remember what, but it was a question from my other account), then I'm sure you know that I don't hold grudges and that one of my closest friends is an atheist (who I really should contact. I'm not online much these days and I miss talking to her!)

I work at a group home for Developmentally disabled adults. today the Autistic guy Narced on his housemate that he shoplifted an tiem from a store in which we were shopping. I never expected him to tattle on that guy as they were close frineds and furthermore, the Autistic guy hardly EVER speaks in public. so BOTH things surprised the heck out of me.

OH! I went to get a refund from HHGregg on a dvd player I paid for but never got. I found out that they had taxed me twice. The thing was I'll wind up getting about 350 back just in tax. I bought a bunch of stuff that day so the tax was high and I didn't check. :-)

As far as answers goes:
Nothing has surprised me here. Same ol' non-believing rhetoric to put up with.
Outside of that:
I'm surprised that I'm not super nervous about my upcoming flight to Vegas in 2 weeks

my middle school sons teacher told him (long story short) that when he was a child he was playing with his grampas shotgun and blew a hole in the ceiling, but his grampa never kept it loaded so it must have been the ghost living in the house..Suprised and outraged! Needless to say I will be having a few words with this teacher...Have a magickal day!
