First, let me say that there are a few things that are of importance to me as I gather with others (Church as we commonly refer to it).
The Essential Truth:
Jesus, who is God, crucified for our sins, is the only way by which we can be saved and brought into a relationship with God.
A few non - essentials (those things that bring deeper understanding to the essential truth);
1 Baptism in water.
2 Baptism in the Holy Spirit
3 Operation of the 5 fold Ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers)
4 Operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit - Tongues, prophetic words, words of knowledge, discerning of spirits, etc..
5- Operation of the gifts of Power - Healing, casting out of demons, miracles, etc..
6 Worship, through song and music, is a celebration that we will live forever and is accompanied by dancing,clapping, shouting, a time that you wish wouldn't stop.
7 Teaching/Preaching would be relevant to what the Holy Spirit is saying to us now .

Am I Invited?

Markus, you just described my church. I don't know if you lean toward the big churches with a ministry for everyone, or small intimate churches where the congregants know each other and really form a close bond - my church is the latter - and you are welcome to come visit any time you're in my "neck o' the woods".

You would be welcome in my church as long as you left speaking in tongues at the front door. My denomination does not allow speaking in tongues because it is disruptive to the church. It is not an evidence of being baptized by the Holy Spirit because any non-Christian can speak in tongues. Also the only healing that goes on in my church is from God, not an individual. There is no casting out of demons because I recognize that most problems have a medical solution, and I have yet to discern any demon possession in any person.

Yes you got it. I am currently supplementing by going to a revival in another church. Names don't mean that much to me, i just consider myself Pentecostal.
