Me friend and I are trying to figure this out. I could have sworn that Jesus said in the Bible that you can pray anywhere because God is all around you and within you so a person doesn't have to go to church to pray. Also, didn't Jesus also say something about destroying the church and rebuilding it in three days or something like that?? Any information would be a huge help and if anyone knows where to find it in the bible would also be appreciated a lot!! Thanks to everyone in advance!

Jesus tells you NOT to pray in church. He states you are to pray in private and the only prayer you should say is the lords prayer. Anything else is for hypocrites and to reap praise from man.

Jesus said to pray to the Father in secret and go into your closet and shut the door, not literally, though. Jesus, further said, when you pray in secret to the Father, he answers publicly. The Lord's Prayer was an example of a prayer, not the only prayer we can pray. (Matthew 6:6)

You can pray anywhere and anytime

"Pray without ceasing"

This means always be in the attitude of prayer. That doesn't necessarily mena always be praying, but to always be ready to offer up a prayer when you need to.
In the restaurant before eating, when faced with a crisis, anytime, anywhere.........

and Jesus said " If you destroy this temple, it will be raised again in three days"....

He was referring to His body before the crucifiction ( the body, your's, mine and everyone's is considered a temple that God resides in )
Jesus was saying that " If you kill me ( crucify ) I will bebuild the this temple ( retunr from the grave) in three days.
