head and feet should not face the window. why not have a headboard (big piece of wood) to shield your head from the window? if your feet is facing a window, why not cover it with thick curtain when you are lying down on your bed? it is better to have the head supported by a wall.

please note that this simple fengshui cannot have a significant effect on your life.

even if you are just living in a room, if the room is a part of a bigger house, the whole house should be fengshui'd as well. because fengshui depends on chi. chi occupies space. the bigger space, the more chi. if the whole house has a bad fengshui, even you get the fengshui of your room right, it does not matter. because the bad fegnshui of the whole house will negate the good fengshui of your room.

this means that in order for your life to change you need to apply more powerful fengshui like flying stars, but not only in your room, but to at least 67% (2/3) of the whole house.

It's ok for your feet to be facing out a window. It's not ok for your feet to be pointed out the door. Your bed should not be directly underneath a window b/c it lacks the symbolic support and protection of a solid wall and can lead to fitful sleep as energy enters and exits through the window.
