Jezebel Spirit?

Can u tell me all you know about the spirit if Jezebel and how it works thru a person. It CAN be male also, right? Or give me a good webstie to visit.

The spirit of Jezebel is a spirit of control & manipulation and yes, it can operate through a man as well as a woman. Sometimes this person will have a very strong personality and will try to manipulate milder, meeker people. Often this is actually a very subtle emotional manipulation. Usually they will first appear to be in need of help, and use this to get close to a man or woman of God. What they are actually after is the anointing in your life...they want to destroy it.

In the Bible, Jezebel was a strong, wicked woman whose husband, King Ahab, was very weak. Though Ahab was king, Jezebel was ruling the kingdom vicariously through him...he was her puppet. When Naboth refused to sell Ahab his vineyard, Ahab went whining to Jezebel about it, and she told him not to worry, she would take care of it. And she did, by using his name and authority; she had the righteous Naboth killed by trickery and lies to give Ahab the vineyard he wanted. Ahab was king but did not stand in the authority that was his, so Jezebel stepped in and used it. This is what happens when a Jezebel spirit is working...she is after the authority and anointing of the man or woman of God, and he/she will seek to gain control in a person's life or in a church. They do this through manipulating your emotions and trying to control your behavior.

The spirit of Jezebel has to be dealt with by someone with a Jehu anointing, one who is not afraid to confront the spirit and and one who is not afraid to walk in his authority.

If someone is operating in this spirit in the church, the pastor must take authority over the situation and not walk in fear. If you are connected to this person through relationship, seek to untangle yourself from this person before they destroy you. If you are married to such a person, seek spiritual counsel.

I was just thinking about the Jezebel Spirit. There are some on here that brought it to mind.

It is talking about strong-willed woman who try and dominate their husbands and induce them to do things or go along with things that are wrong. It would also include causing divisions and contentions in the congregation. Going along with or promoting wrongdoing. It is only when women step out of line by seducing men or by challenging or ignoring headship that a Jezebel influence arises.

Although men may do this, the Jezebel spirit is talking to woman.

The Jezebel Sprit is powerful demon - one of the princes of the air - and referred to as ‘she’, although such spirits have no gender. She is also one of the ‘strong men’ mentioned in Matthew 12:29. She is described in Isaiah 47:8,9; and again in Revelation 2:20-24 and 17:4,5. She will be first to be cast into the lake of fire. She manifests herself in a multiplicity of ways, involving both men and women and majors in feminism & attacking churches. The book ‘Demons Defeated’ by Subritzky has several pages on this spirit.

A Jezebel spirit will attack the church members and bring division within the body of Christ, especially the leaders. If you suddenly notice that someone is always attacking church leaders with gossip and backstabbing and rumours then praying and fasting by several members should be done to come against this spirit. We have it in my church as I type and it is a very bad one. I know in my heart though that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. This spirit's goal is to cause backsliding in the church.

Is your Church All talk? Tongues are spoken and the Pastor (not congregation members) are put in that high place! The interpreter say's "Pastor 3333, is going to move in God's mighty power" That's Jezebel......subtle ...manipulative.....the Pastor never moves in God's mighty power...it never happens . The Church is all talk.

i think when someone has that spirit it means that that person is a whore to the core : will sleep with anyone or anything, seduces...basucally someone who is immoral but only sexually.
