Everybody whines about the immigration issue.Everybody gripes about our government not doing anything.Everybody has an opinion on what should be done. But yet nobody is ready to give an inch on the issues.I don't know if anything will ever get resolved with that type of thinking.Anti's think they are a majority and so do Pro's.Guess what?Neither are the majority. This is a very split issue. To resolve it BOTH sides are going to have to make concessions they may not want.Isn't time to put the 3 year old bull headedness aside and start thinking along the lines of adults?Or do you just want to have something to gripe about while our country falls apart?

I agree. I wouldn be willing to give on some things if the reform was made. But I will never agree on deport all. That is something that I will never agree on.
Here is prove of what the US is thinking...this is a sample of

I agree with notice. In my opinion it was a great thing when the immigration reform failed because that meant that the current laws are still in place.
Here is the real debate. The anti say enforce the laws that are already there but overlooked for political reasons. The pro want the laws changed to reflect how the current laws are enforced.

I would say that your estimate that Pros and Antis are equal in number is completely incorrect, and here is the polling data that proves it.
http://www.fairus.org/site/PageServer?pagename=research_researchd74c
Antis are quite definitely in the majority.
Let illegal criminals kill a few more cops and people on the roads and you'll see the numbers change even more.
Here in the southwest where we share the border people are OUTRAGED.
I was up for compromise. Now...NO compromise. I want them GONE!

Citizens have a right to peacefully disagree. That's part of democracy. If a person isn't a citizen, then I really don't think their opinion counts.
My position on the issue is based on my morals, and those I won't compromise.

I cannot give on the fact that illegal criminal aliens should get amnesty. There is no giving in there. They all need to go back to wherever they came from and apply legally to come here. Get at the end of the line.

Obviously some people are just heartless blabbers to the death..ahemm...but I completely agree with you. People are quick to criticise what they dont understand. The immigration issue will only worsen if the government keeps postponing the issue. On the contrary, I think that the gov't should also CONSISTENLY be doing its job trying to avoid these difficult issues from getting to this point. For right now though, something needs to be done. The option of a deportation sweep of all illegals is not only unreallistic, but also very heartless and ...well...very unrealistic.
