I like my color hair its just there is some grey starting at the temples

My mom dyes her hair all the time and it works pretty well for her. Of course, I suggest you also do treatment on your hair to keep it nice and soft. All dyes contain chemicals that can dry or damage your hair. You should try Hydrience. It's low on the ammonia and is water based. Like I said, it works well for my mom so, that's why I recommend it.

Darker hair is easier to color at home, you can't really see any mistakes. If your brunette or black and want to go blonde or if you're a blonde I would recommend going to a professional. Just start with shades that are pretty close to the one you already are. Not a bad idea to have a friend help you. Good luck

No, I think American women have been duped into thinking natural hair color is BAD, all so that hair color companies can eat up our money. I started dying my honey colored hair back when I was 14 to a platnium blond color. After 13 years of that I quit coloring and was surprised at how beautiful my natural color is, with lots of dimension and shine. Its also healthier w/o all those chemicals in it. Love your natural color, its YOURS- and yours alone!

If you've got virgin hair..I really suggest not dying it...You want your hair to look your best and adding chemicals really doesnt help..Sometimes it can make you hair really unmanageable...
But if you really want to dye it, go to the professionals and try getting a tone close to your hair color that way maintenance will be as simple as pie...^_^

Personally, letting a professional color your hair is best, especially if you want highlights, or to bleach your hair, or it'll be a disaster zone, you'll choke on the cheap bleach fumes, etc.

DO NOT DYE YOUR OWN HAIR !!
go to a hairdressers because dying your hair yourself will ruin your hair!!
