If you aren't having any symptoms of hot flashes, night sweats, etc. I wouldn't worry. My doctor told me I would experience problems right after my total hysterectomy and I got a shot of estrogen in recovery and he put me on premarin. I stopped taking it because it gave me headaches and have not had any problems.

You might talk to your doctor about non estrogen supplements that might help if you are having problems. Most of the "natural" supplements I am aware of contain estrogen. (black cohash, soy...)

The natural approach to combating the problems and symptoms of menopause, includes eating a well balanced diet, exercise, adequate sleep, decreased stress.... in other words, the healthier the lifestyle, the healthier the body.

Including such helpful things such as increased calcium and vitamin D, Vitamin C..... and.... if there are symptoms of hot flashes, Pomegranate juice has been proven to decrease them. You can find the juice at Walmart.... and drink about two -8oz glasses per day. (note, if diabetic, you'll have to watch your blood sugar if you drink the juice, as it does have a lot of natural sugars). ... if the hot flashes continue, or become extreme, there is a blood pressure medication that tends to relieve them, and your doc could prescribe it.....
