like in this, the child remembered the city where he lived, about a dog they had, the house (and details about where it was and what was around it) and his old family surname. There was no way someone would have told him all of it before hand and they confirmed it and found the location and pictures of dog and all that...

Some cases may be brain washing and I wont say EVERY CASE is truth but there are so many cases of kids know details about things they shouldn't! My ex bf had detailed dreams of being killed in ww2 everyday almost since he was a child until now (24) obviously that means something?

No doubt about it, there is an enormous amount of material documented, that has been investigated, evaluated and analyzed in minute detail, much of it where details gathered are even more precise than in this particular case, and all one can say is that it is very very compelling.

I can't personally bring myself to believe that aaaaalll that documentation is phony. There is definitely something to it, and because we do not yet understand most of it, doesn't mean that we can dismiss it.

This particular posted question caught my attention because from the time I was about four or five, my parents would later tell me that I was constantly "lecturing" them about how the body worked..... for example, how we breathed, why we needed to, and why we puffed after we had run hard. There was never a doubt in my mind ever, that I wanted to pursue some kind of occupation that involved further knowledge of, investigation of, and repair of the human body. In my case, I never had any kind of recall of having "been a doctor in a past life" or anything as specific as that, and I can only say that in the course of the studies that I would eventually pursue, I seemed to have no difficulty grasping the concepts and the definitions of things. I would read up on something and it would be like....."Oh, of course. got that." and moved on to the next thing.

I was always rather curious about it, even in myself, but some years later when I began doing a bit of casual reading on the subject of Past Life experience, I often found myself thinking...."Hmmm, interesting.... could it be.....?"

Not any further along in knowing than I was then, I still find the topic very fascinating, and would certainly be completely disinclined to dismiss it all as "nonsense". Humans are rather fond of taking that "easy road" and merely rejecting in total, what they do not understand, or can't get any kind of handle on.

I continue to be completely open-minded, read anything on the subject that happens to come my way, and quietly tell myself that some day, perhaps in my own lifetime, there will be at least some more answers than we have now.

Hi. I never heard of a child saying I'm dead, but i do believe that children can see things that so many adults can't see, and some can still remember some of the events that had happened to them, i learned this from my own experience as a child and some i still remember, and i experienced this with my own children's when their were little, and with others family members kids.

I think it is actually the collective unconscious that causes this phenomena.

This term was introduced by psychiatrist Carl Jung to represent a form of the unconscious (that part of the mind containing memories and impulses of which the individual is not aware) common to mankind as a whole and originating in the inherited structure of the brain. It is distinct from the personal unconscious, which arises from the experience of the individual.

Standard reply: I don't take anything on youtube as truth. Anyone can put anything on there and there is no reason to assume that it is anything but a fabrication.

There have been about 1400 documented cases of children remembering past lives, however, as strange as this sounds it's such a low percentage of the total population that it's almost non-existent. I have not reviewed the findings or know of them being published so I can't draw any conclusion as to their validity.

An intuitive child might have amazing insight into other people's experiences, but the only manner in which you could say we have "past lives" is the atoms that compose our bodies have belonged to other living things. The memories and knowledge in a brain can't be recycled.

Practically every highly visible person -- Jesus, Shirley MacLaine, Marcia Moore -- who has promoted the idea of reincarnation is an intuitive. CRAZY intuitives!

I think they are interesting! There may be something to their stories, especially if they show phobias or other traits related to their story.
