I dont claim to know what is, I merely know what isnt. Not knowing merely means I should keep looking, testing, verifying, etc until I come to a conclusion.

Christians believe their BOOK.
They can not look outside their BOOK.
They criticize anything not within the pages of their BOOK.

Atheist just do not believe the Book.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that Men wrote their Bible. Men Edited their Bible. Men teach their Bible.
It is a book written by very powerful (power over the Kings) Men, not God or the Creator or Allah.

As long as you keep looking and verifying and discovering what is TRUE within your whole being, you will come to Your conclusion. And that is your Truth.

interior the beginning up there replaced into no longer something, actually no longer something of substance then it each and all of the no longer something went BANG and it made each thing. those days the best of the each thing has tried to justify its life by way of subjective concepts of purpose and avoidance of the obtrusive. They by some skill have faith that an all useful clever dressmaker is greater ridiculous than no longer something going bang and making each thing. The Stupidity of folk now that think of a dressmaker is a daft theory and choose rather the idiotic and have faith that no longer something went bang and made each thing.

I agree. No one actually knows...
well, I assume no one ALIVE actually knows.

If we find out one day, that would be great. I'd like to know. But for now, I guess we all have the freedom and responsibility to keep searching for the truth behind why we are here and how everything came to be.

Good question. :D

Jamustrip,
Just try to go with it, we Christians and Atheists go through these gymnastics all the time. Sometimes it's fun and sometimes it's a pain but hey, This is RS, man.

Christians seem to think that if you reject their story of how the Universe was created ex nihilo, you need to provide a story that's just as detailed explaining how something came from nothing. (They ignore the fact that the Christian creation story is the only one in which something came from nothing.)

They think it's like another religion, that contradicts them. Saying "I don't know" is probably the least rash course of action.

So you're saying just because you're an atheist doesn't mean that you have an alternative view to the one that it was made by God?

Huh...

You could at least research the rational views by physicists. Its like you're implying that just because you dont know how the universe would come in to being means there isnt one. Check out the ekpyrotic scenario.

I don't assume that.

But I know what it is as well. My belief is different from yours, but to me it is a fact.

And there's no point in arguing, because neither of us will be swayed from where we stand.

Why did you assume all Christians thought that way about you. Never knew you existed before 25 seconds ago. Stop judging

I don't care how the universe came to be... I care about here and now... I know that no God is capable of making it...
