I saw that, might be true. I really don't know, but I do know that the bible says it will reaprear.

Could it have been carried off as booty by Egyptians or Babylonians. They were local superpowers in post-Davidic times. Assyria also was but they didn't sack Jerusalem, I think. Apart from that in the ruins of the Temple Mount on Moun Zion.

If you read through Exodus, about the middle and the end of the book, you'll see that the Arc is actually in Heaven.

I'm sure it was destroyed after it was looted.

The Ethiopian monastery is not the only place to make that claim, but no one has been able to come up with an actual ark, so best to go with the most logical probability.

From all my personal studies,I would say it is under The Dome of The Rock,which was built upon The Temple.So
it will never be found,unless a natural disaster occurred.We
can not, should not ,touch Islams most Holy place.

It is located beneath the dome on the rock in Jerusalem. This is my opinion, not fact. I believe they will find it and that will bring many people back to faith in the God of Abraham.

I think it is stored in a cave or labyrinth beneath the temple mount.

No one really knows. In the Bible, the story is told of it being stolen so many times. There is no mention (that I know of) in the New Testament so it may have been destroyed just like the temple and many other symbolic things.

Does it really matter where it is? The Lord Jesus Christ is our ark now. He is in Heaven and that is where we yearn to be - with Him.
