unreleastic expectations from its current Yahoo Answers model, with the obligatory absurd punitive measures derived from flawed expectations?

Or do you use Google or other portals for all your other service needs, knowing that Yahoo may delete everything of yours out of the blue one day, all because some Answers users are way too uptight?

Religion and Spirituality is the primary category where these absurdities come into play, why do you think that is compared to the other categories which seem less likely to be a lightning rod for reporting campaigns?

Politics, too. I lost my main account because of a campaign against me by those who disagree with me.

It is absurd to rely on Yahoo services because of the reasons you state.

I only use Yahoo mail for this place. My last account with them I used it for a lot more than just this place and it got deleted... not a total loss because the people I would rather keep in touch with I give them my private email address (from my local IP) anyway, so I didn't lose anyone. It was just very annoying. Especially when it was over answers in here... supposedly I was violating all kinds of guidelines, yet the emails I was getting through Answers wasn't violating anything (I still see some of those people on here)...

R&S draws a lot of whiners. All other categories have mature people in them who can agree to disagree without taking offense. Here, we get the Extremely Religious who find it offensive that Pagans/Heathens/Wiccans/Atheists/Etc are allowed to even own a computer.

Your avatar and name crack me up! Happy Little Trees!

If I used Yahoo for mail, calendars, blogs, etc, I would take great care to abide by the terms of service of the Answers product. I wouldn't intentionally violate them if I thought a mission-critical account might be at stake. Then again, I'm not sure that I would use a mission-critical account to participate in Answers.

Of course, having more than one account is, I'm quite sure, a violation of multiple terms of the service.

I pay for my primary e-mail account. Yahoo is an entertainment site.
