I am sure it has made Him very sad to see and here all the hate and fighting in his name throughout the centuries up to the present. Fighting and hate were not his message. People who do this in his name are/were not true followers. His message was/is of hope, love, kindness, acceptance and forgivness. That should be the Chritians' message to the world today.

Can most of us agree on this one?

YEs it is simple, even a child can understand. PPL make it way too complicated. God tells us to love HIm and obey Him, accept Jesus as Lord, repent of our sins and turn from them. HE says if you love me, Obey me. By the indwelling of the HOly Spirit , it is easy to obey if you are truly born again, and not just playing games with God. God knows the heart. JEsus is our blessed hope, we dont walk in a spirit of fear, but HOPE. We are to love God as He loves us , love ourselves as He loves us, and love others as HE loves them. To repent, forgive others, tell truth to them and live it, without compromise, but humble given and given in the spirit of love and hope, but without fear or compromise. But grace does not cover continued willful deliberate sin. Look at 1 John 3:9 those born of God, cannot sin. So if you cant give you sin, you dont know Jesus yet. Get to Know HIm intimately. Learn to say yes to Him and NO to sin. ITs not even hard, once we give our desires to HIm and take His desires.
Its so easy and so beautiful, I count it all as joy.
Great question.....

Yeah, I would have to strongly agree with you. Anyone who kills in the name of religion isn't religious, a Christian who justifies war isn't living by Christs precepts and doctrines and therefore can't be considered a Christian. The same goes for Moslems or Buddhists or Jews, etc. Jesus says to love ones enemies, he also speaks of being more aware of oneself, being more conscious and more awake and watchful. This is the only way to prevent violence among mankind, it is through peoples personal efforts towards being better people. Wars happen on small scales just like they happen on large scales, the first step is to be more conscious and then slowly to develop ones conscience further. By the way, morality and conscience are two different things, morality changes from person to person and from culture to culture while conscience is sacred and can be attained by anyone as long they work on themselves and are more aware of their manifestations(Watch for ye know not the day or hour). Most people think they have a conscience, but it may be in a very primitive state and hasn't had the proper education, if everyone developed their conscience the world could be save, this is the only way, through everyone developing a real conscience. There are always forces acting against what is good though, see these forces/weaknesses in yourself and then you can see them in others in a clear way. One thing I do disagree with is saying that Jesus' message was simple and very easy to adhere to, his message was simple, but it is very difficult to become a true Christian, it is easier to become a millionare than to become a true Christian without quotation marks.

I would also like to say that some people worship government over God, others misinterpret the bible because it has been distorted and wrongly translated, and others like to point out the speck in their brothers eye before they remove the plank from their own eye.

The thing is that people use many phrases that they repeat like faith, love, and hope but they don't know what these even mean and how they apply physically to themselves. These words have no weight, it is fluff, it is empty and is a sign of someones emptiness. Love is a real thing, not a thought, if one can love like Christ loved then I could take them seriously. Can they who speak of Christ drink from the same cup as Christ? I would be skeptical of anyone who speaks of being born again, there are definite stages of being reborn in this lifetime and is to do with giving birth to your higher self. First a person must be awakened, awakened to the truth of the situation. Then a person must die, lose attachments which they may hold dear, but are sins because they are completely unnecessary. Then and only then can a person be born again or reborn. This is alluded to in the Gospels, being awake in the Garden of Gesthsemane while the disciples slept is a metaphor for awakening. Then the death of Jesus which he knew would fulfill his fate. (Fate is also a definite thing, but people rarely live according to their fate) Then the resurrection or rebirth of Christ. The Gospels are misinterpreted and have been wrongly translated because they were rewritten at least a hundred years later by people who didn't understand how people in higher states of consciousness communicated to one another. They used metaphors and allegories and didn't speak in literal ways all the time and used symbolic forms to express themselves. Many things in the Gospels such as the last supper and the resurrection are not pure information but have been fudged by the fathers of the church who really didn't see the forest through the trees, much like many people nowadays.

One more thing is that trying to obey doctrines when people have no unity is impossible. People have no unity because they have different functions, one minute they are controlled by there emotions, then their thoughts, then their sensations, then their desires etc. People who think they can just all of a sudden be a true Christian are only wallowing in their own self deception and their false notion about themselves.

Sorry, I disagree, we need to be ruled by a political system that is comprehensive. Christianity is not political unless we consider the dark ages in Europe and is not comprehensive in the sense that will not be able to defend itself from attack, with the message of leave and hope.

He is our Lord and Master, our God, our King, our High Priest - in short He is everything to us. He Himself told us to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, minds and strengths and then our neighbours as ourselves. Can you bear to hear His name being blasphemed, His existence questioned or denied and His authority also denied. If you can then, go on loving those who do it. I can't love such people.

You must be one of those placebo Christians, any real Christians would know that Jesus' message was about the kingdom of God.

Yes.
His message is to go and tell -----------
of His miracles, His LOVE for us, the Hope we have in Him, a future with Him, all the blessings we can imagine --if we just get US off our mind .
