No, the Klu Klux Klan is not a Christian organisation. The original KKK started shortly after the Civil War. An appointed governor in Tennessee was causing trouble, so some Confederate vets decided to relive they're glory days and get rid of the governor. When too many were taking the law in their own hands their leader, Nathan Bedford Forrest broke it up.
Later on, in the 1910's and 20's some entrepreneurs resurrected the idea. They made a ton of money off of membership dues, official robes, etc. This second KKK was also begun in the South, but the majority of its members were Northerners. They preached against anyone who wasn't white and born in America. They hated just about everybody, but it was a popular organization, both men and women joined up. They did use Christianity to help make it popular, because most Americans were Christian at that time. However, while some preachers and churches joined up, the KKK went against Christian teachings. It was just a money-making enterprise spawned by hate.

They claim to be....here is the story behind the burning of the cross.

In 312 BC, Constantine is reputed to have seen a Fiery Cross in the sky before an important battle. (See Chi Rho Cross.)

In 1547, Scottish clansmen used the Fiery Cross (Crann Tara) as a symbol of unity and loyalty. Whenever an emergency arose, such as an attack or attempted invasion by rivals, the clan chieftain would dispatch runners carrying Fiery Crosses to assemble the warriors for the battle. The last recorded use of the Fiery Cross was during the Jacobite Rising in 1745. Swedish clansmen had a similar communications system (Buþkafle).

In America, the Burning Cross is considered one of the hallmarks of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK). As self-confessed ultra-right nationalists, they use this symbol to terrorise their intended victims. This is completely different from the use by ancient Scottish or Swedish clans.

Anyway, they are not teaching the love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Klan is a sub routine of the Fundamentalist program that collects aberrant, dysfunctional data sets and stores them in a separate file where they hopefully will not infect other files. Occasionally there is a code leakage and some of the Klan processes spill over to the more acceptable programs and contributes to the Chaos 3.5 that is linked to Reality XP Pro.

No matter what anyone here says, yes they are a Christian organization. Many Christians would hate to be grouped in with such a disgraceful faction, but the fact remains that they are indeed Christian.

NO way shape or form. Jesus said that people would know you are a follower of His because they would see the love in your life. Obviously missing in the Knights.

The burning crosses are meant to terrify Christian blacks, Jews, Catholics and anyone else on their hate list.

No. People of the Christain faiths believe in the 10 commandments and would not cause the harm this group of individuals does to others. (I am not one, but I do know that much.)
The KKK is a redneck, ignorant group of people that need arresting and their children taken from them so that this will not be passed on to another generation of innocent young people. This is nothing but hatred, spewing from people who have tough lives stemming from the refusal to educate and learn tolerance of those around them.

Yes they are. Christians now try to forget or pretend all the messed up stuff that went on never happened like the crusades or wandering the desert. But this is a religion based on murder and supremecy. Why did moses and his people kill all those innocent bystanders anyway?

Some people think they are George Washington. That doesn't make them George Washington.

I don't get why you think burning a cross is a symbol of Christianity. Do you think when people in a middle eastern country burn the American flag it's because they are pro-American?

The word Christian means Christ like, and Christ is love. Are you getting it. To be a Christian you must love one another. Can this group say that or do they only love those who look and think like they do?

That's just another bunch of stupid idiots, that don't have anything else better to do. Than to cause trouble for people and look like a parade of clowns walking down the street. They are anything but Christian.
