Well calling a woman cute can mean anything in my opinion but one thing is for sure. He either adores you or is interested in you one way or the other. Truthfully I think this mostly depends upon the guy. Everyone has different standards and I don't mean by purely physical appearance. Some guys go around calling every single girl that they are interested in cute while others are more reserved. I guess you should have to get to know the person better and see where he falls in between?

for me the word cute can be the innocent form of telling a girl that a guy thinks she's cute without coming right out and saying it. Usually when I say the word cute, I say it as in a friendly type of matter. Usually I reserve the word beautiful for a person that I might like to date.

I for one usually mean exactly what I say. If I say you are cute you are to me, cute! Not ugly by any means but not beautiful or I would say beautiful, not sexy necessarily but not sexless either, just cute. It means attractive, funny and entertaining, usually kind of small in stature, fun to be around. Raquel Welch or Madonna I could never call cute. Doris Day was cute, Sally Field was cute. Cute always means attractive if that is your question.

It means both, and It also means the man is trying to get into her pants....directly or indirectly. Either way means he's trying to express and impress. Don't take it wrongly that when a guy wanna sleep with a woman means he's up to no good. I told my GF that she's cute the 1st time we met. We've been together ever since.

i think it all boiles down to your instinct. man differs from one another.
Some are sincere in their compliment that you ARE actually cute.
And some, just wanna get into your pants.
