in a very private area..not sure what caused it..we have tried hydrocortizone creams, aloe vera and other creams to try and heal it. He's had it for about a week now..and instead of getting better it seems to have gotten worse. He's in a lot of pain from the rash. any suggestions on what to do, any other creams that will work better..any advice what so ever would be appreciated.

it may be a bad yeast infection caused by the heat of the sumer and sweating-he needs to see a Dr. if the cortizone cream didnt clear it-Its fairly common in men in the summer so tell him not to be embarassed-Alot of men who work outside get it-It can be easily cleared with a script of anti-biotic from the dr.

Maybe its jock itch - try some sprays or ointments for that to kill the fungus, which hydrocortisone and aloe vera wouldn't do.

IT SOUNDS LIKE A JOCK ITCH. MY HUSBAND GETS THEM ALL THE TIME. A CREAME WONT WORK WITH THAT,USE A JOCK ITCH SPRAY. THIS MAY SOUND FUNNY,BUT HAVE HIM USE VAGISIL,THAT WORKS. MY HUSBAND USES THAT AND THE SPRAY AND ITS CLEARED UP IN A WEEK.
