I have found a wedding dress which i really adore, i dont know if it appears too "simple/casual", Our wedding is in a country area by the lake surrounded by mountains - which will be snowy at the time of our wedding. Despite the snow, the weather is usually pretty good at that time of year anyways and not freezing!!
This is the link to a pic of dress...

Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I dont mind if you do or dont like it, just after opinions...
I know its what i feel comfortable in, i just didnt want to look cas at my own wedding and majority of my friends + family who look round with me are into the poofy big dresses...i personally think they are a little old school...back when my folks got married they wore that kinda stuff..

well first of all congratulations! I think the dress is beautiful and definitely not too simple, especially with the crystals and rouching. The dress sounds like it would be perfect for a beautiful snowy wedding, just make sure that because it is spaghetti straps that you wont get too cold. If you love the dress and it matches your personality then go for it! Just a tip, don't wear to much, or too "glitzy" jewelry with the dress because it is already sparkely enough, but if you want to dress it up a little, you can always do that by adding some fun shoes and doing your hair up. Its your wedding day so remember that no one else's opinion really matters just as long as you love it.

That is an absolutely beautiful dress, and I certainly wouldn't describe it as simple or casual - Mine was much more simple than that and I got married in a cathedral, and was quite happy with it.
The main thing about a wedding dress is that you have to feel that you look beautiful in it, and I'm sure you will in that dress! Only you know what you will feel comfortable in - go with your gut instinct and I'm sure you'll pick the right one for you.

That dress is awesome. Mine is alot like that too. Very simple and I agree with you on the poofy dress thing. I prefer to be comfortable and not worrying about carrying around the bottom of my dress all night. I think you will look stunning in this dress!

NO it's not. It's perfect. That's the problems sometimes, women try to over do it and they don't have too. Simple is better. You will be dressing it up when you get your hair done and add the shoes and accessories. You don't want to look like a clown on your wedding day, or any day for that matter. But get that dress, I like it! It's gorgeous just like you will be. Congratulations!!

Whatever dress you have, there will be someone who won't like it. Weddings would be very dull if we all liked the same thing.
An unadorned dress should make its statement by the cut of the fabric. It looks as though this dress meets that criteria.
It is your wedding. Choose the dress that you will be comfortable in, and never mind what anyone else thinks.

Beautiful dress! But, simple and casual are the last words I'd use to describe it! Just because a dress isn't big and poofy, doesn't mean it's casual. Gorgeous - go for it.

When I was shopping for my dress, I had a very fixed idea of what I wanted, but when I tried on dresses in that style it did not suit me at all.
I knew when I had found my dress because when I looked in the mirror it brough tears to mine and my mothers eyes. THATS how I knew I had the one.
Go back and try the dress on and take a friend with you, one that will be totally honest with you.
I think its a stunning dress!

I would say this design has simple lines, yes, but it's NOT too casual. It is intended to be a wedding dress, and you love it. That's all you need. Wear it, and I hope you have a wonderful day.

It's beautiful, it looks like an elegant evening dress, but a bit more bridal if you know what I mean, I do not think it is too simple either, if you have the figure to carry that off then go for it!
