cel phone attack, theaters public eating areas, driving a car, in church, during a private party, in a funeral parlor. just general overuse of the death weapon the cel phone and tex mesagers. while idiots are driving on the expressway. radios to loud rude language burping out loud passing gas in public places or worst in the seat next to me on the subway, Police officers playing the power trip, no it alls who take over every conversation with rude loud answers, anyone that speakes louder in order to make their point. the manner in wich younge girls speak, they all sound like children with the sentence ending in an upward high childish way, Tattoo freeks who think everyone else is a chicken because they dont want to look like them (geeks),
Piercing freeks having to pierce every orifice that can and cant be seen. people that don't visit their elderly parents accept when its time to split the pot after they pass, then have big giant crok tears. and they are first in line to get a cheque.loud radios in the cars , ambulance and other imirgancy vihicles needing to get by this idiots but they cant hear anything but that stupid boom box,
othe than that nothing bothers me, well maybe Bushes constantly changing excuses of why we need to be spending so much money in the middle east instead of just helping out the poor people of NewOrleans, he needs to be honest and tell them they must move to higher ground, but then no one has the guts to say it, whoops i just said it. good question it got me thinking .

I am irritated when people don't replace items to where they took them from, or clean up after themselves, and encourage their children to do the same; I frequently hear, "No, no; just leave it--someone gets paid to put that away/clean that up" while out shopping or dining. I miss people having respect for each other, and I think these low-lifes should be educated in manners the same way we were by our fathers-- with an introduction to Mr. Belt!!

I think its because we are all so busy and used to living life in the fast lane that it is creating a stress epidemic.
Time was when people would just sit for hours, peacefully watching the corn grow. Now we watch tv, talk on the phone and play video games. We never let our nervous systems 'rest'.
Anytime someone goes out of their way to be unkind it bothers me. I just try and do the courteous thing, it drives those buggers nuts!

People not holding a door open for you when you are struggling with a trolley - they say because you are young you should be able to do it yourself (I am 44 and disabled - I just do not wear calipers!)
People not saying please and thank you - adults too!
Generally people not being thoughtful of others' needs, wants etc. I was brought up to think of others first. Later when I became a Christian I learned that this is what the Lord wants anyway, despite having a non christian family, they taught me good, old fashioned values.

I think people are much ruder today than they ever have been. I know this because older people tell me so.
The reason is easy............ Stress.
People are so busy that they just dont think about anyone but themselves, their work, and their family concerns.
I understand the problem, but also feel that a big warning should be on the highways for people to see as they race to work that says.............
WARNING: FAILING TO USE PROPER ETIQUETTE WILL RESULT IN AN INTOLERABLE SOCIETY
We all need to really strive to be polite to one another. Remember we take on all this stress and responciblity to make life better, not worse. We should take time to enjoy life, not make it miserable for everyone else.

I am bothered by "duckers"...People who duck through the door I am entering in without so much as a pardon me or thank's.Made worse by the fact there is usually a separate door for their egress. This move smacks of advantage taking and at times I have paused part way in and been bumped into... again, without a word.

I really bugs me when I see men on the bus or train that won't get up and let a lady, especially one older than them have their seat. I think that is so disrespectful. I think the best way to change this is to start with the new generation by training young men to demonstrate chivelry.

So many people don't glance behind themselves as they exit a building, and let a door slam in the face of the person right behind them. Or they walk out of a building and stop dead in their tracks to search for their sunglasses (or whatever), and then they glare at you if you bump into them. It must be nice to be be so self centered to believe you are the only person in the world!

I hate when you hold the door for someone or pick up something they dropped and they don't say thank you. And how about holding a lady's hand when she walks down stairs in heels? or give her your arm when you walk beside her down the street? I would like to be treated like more of an "old fashioned" lady (and i am not old (25)).

I miss the time when you could spend 5 slow hours on a home cooked meal. Instead of all instant, preservative loaded, quick food. A roast, potatoes, the works made slow and with love. I miss the heartiness.
