Because we are humans, however, the Bible was inspired by God. He has, since it's early days ensured that the main concepts have remained the same. The exception is, as someone has already mentioned, the NWT, which whilst not entirely agreeing about it being 100% heresy is seriously corrupted, so that the main tenets of Christianity are lost.

As with all things God does, He has the power to protect it.

20 people in line handing down God's Word would have as much power or angels as it took to preserve it. Just look down through history at all those who tried to erase it from existence. All failed. Unearthed manuscripts from 1,000s of years ago reveal little has changed. That can't be said for human authors.

In reply to "deadmandanny`s" answer . Jehovah`s Witnesses use the King James version ................ the SAME version most churches use .

You should first research a subject before posting an "expert opinion" on it ................ unless of course , you have a copy of this "altered" bible ????????????????

Because what we have in Scripture is exactly how God planned it to be.

He is sovereign.....and His Word has NOT been altered by man. Scripture is God-breathed & inspired..........and was written by Him.

The only translation that has been altered is the NWT (Jehovah's Witness bible).......which is 100% heresy. Any true Holy Spirit-posessed Christian can see that.

I think you just answered your own question.
