You have it posted in the cooking section, why people didn't understand your question. Morning Farms has a soy ground product, that looks like ground beef, but veggy, you can buy in the freezer section. Its not bad tasting at all either. Try that.

U can use Tofu or a Vegetable medly.. it really depends on what u are cooking... u can also use rice or beans in some recipes. if you check in the freezer or produce section of your local grocery store u can find soy based meat for vegitarians that contains no animal meats or products n them such as morning star farms or boca. you may also want to try going to your local organic store where the specially carry vegitarian foods and substitutes. They can also help you find exactly what you are looking for in a substitute.....

Morningstar farms and Boca make a ground beef replacement. Both are very good. What kind of recipe is it? Beans, mushrooms, squash, potatoes are all good depending on what you are making.

There are a number of brands of vegetarian crumbles out there. Lightlife, Yves, Morningstar Farms are just a few. You can also use tempeh--just crumble the cake of tempeh into your recipe.

All the answers to your question are vegetarian answers. None of them contained real meat.
Another thing you can use is TVP (textured Vegetable Protein). You can buy it at your Health Food store. That's what my vegan step-daughter uses.

boca and morning star both make a pre cooked ground meat substitute. they are awesome, all soy and veggies. If you like boca burgers or gardem burgers or any form of veggi burger you can take them and break them up into any receipe.
