The NADA book on car values or the Kelly Blue Book should be available in the most current edition at your bank or at any car dealer.
Loan value may vary according to the condition and options found on the vehicle.

Used car sales people use the Kelly Blue Book, you can too, look it up on the Web...I have used this before and knew what I was getting myself into with the sales man when I went to "talk terms" they have to make a commission, and you want the best deal..
Good luck, OH my sons are mechanics, so they always go with me to check out anything we are thinking of buying, If you know anyone with even a little bit of mechanical knowledge, ask them to come along, drive it, listen to it, use the heat and AC, all those things we know we should do, but somehow don't.

If the car isn't too old you can go to www.kellybluebook.com and look it up yourself if you have all the pertinent info on the car. Good luck!
