I am a female and I'm interested in a male. Most likely he is interested in me but we are both kind of shy.

If I were to break the ice and be the first one to make the move. How should I go about that? Also I am about 5 1/2 yrs younger than him does that matter?: I'm 26 and he just turned 32. I have two children so I am rather mature for my age...

Age is irrelevant and 32 is a really nice age for a guy! Go for it ask him for coffee, you have nothing to lose

If you keep waiting for him to make the move, it may never happen. So by you making an effort just to get to know him..this may open up his shyness as well. If there are any town bizzarre or carnivals this might be an activity worth inviting.
