Looking at all the questions in the language section, it looks like the majority are interested in Spanish. Then there's french and other questions, with a few ones on Latin. However, it's strange to see how many questions are on about the Italian language! I was told, though, that the English love the Italian culture, just as the Spanish one. So, a question for you all, what makes you love a language or the other , Spanish or Italian? Which one do you prefer? and why so?

I prefer Spanish. It is more widely spoken and hence more useful. When I compare the two I think Spanish is easier.Compare number 4.Spanish -cuatro,Italian-quattro
In Spanish you never have a-Qu- before an-A.I think Spanish spelling is easier and I like the-S for plural.

I personally like the Spanish and Italian cultures/languages. I'm currently learning Spanish so I would obviously prefer to speak this one, but I do eventually plan on learning Italian as well. I suppose that the reason that there are so many questions about Spanish as opposed to Italian here on Yahoo! Answers is because Spanish is currently more of a necessity. There are far more Spanish speakers in the world, and the language is much more widespread than Italian. But I don't think that necessarily means that it's a bad idea to learn Italian though. It's a great langauge. I'll simply be doing it after I am fluent in Spanish.

Chao amigo!

I am learning Italian right now and I love it so much. It is such a gorgeous language. I have always wanted to go to Italy, ever since I was 5 years old. I'm just in love with Italy and the Italian language. A lot of people say French is the romantic language, but I really think it is Italian. Have a great day!!!

Spanish - but mainly because I am far more fluent in Spanish than in Italian. I love both languages, though, and both cultures (when I talk of Spanish culture, I mean culture in Spain).

Hi. I am an Iranian and I know in Spanish. I love Italian language and rather prefer it, but I can never learn it as I love Persian language because I'm Persian but I don't know in Persian language. Instead, I know in Azerbaijanian because I was born in here.
Thanks.

I would study Italian because it is closer to the language of the Holy Father.

I thought the purpose for this forum was to ask questions that benefit the asker. How does knowing what a whole bunch of people you'll probably never meet like or prefer, be helpful to you?
