Your arguments just become more and more bizarre, rather like the version of God you peddle.

first off we are fare from traveling space. Do some study the vastness of spcae is so larg we would die defore we got anywhere.
It would take a 1000-10000 years just to get to the next gallaxy at light speed.
Next, what does space travel of the human race have to do with god? How does this prove his existance.
And last, many athiests like myself believe in a god I just don't believe the bible. I believe thier was some sort of creation and don't believe the evolution theory. I just don't believe in any of the gods man has made up. I think there is one but he does not communicate with us.

Well first I gotta give you credit for thinking we will be around in 500-1000 years. I am pretty sure we will all kill each other in the name of God, Jesus, Low-fat yogurt or whatever
And based on what I see on Earth here I would hope God would smite this planet down making sure the taint of humanity does NOT spread.
Humanity has spit at God and thrown the gifts of intelligence, reason, logic, honor, morality, decency, compassion, and justice right back in God's face. I think we have lived beyond our expiration date as we now worship ignorance, lies, violence, hatred, intolerance, greed, stupidity, and a stubborn refusal to accept reality because it conflicts with what our "faith" tells us.

Why in the world would that change my mind?
The fact that there are billions of other planets in the universe is evidence enough that no supernatural being would have ever spent so much time and attention on this little grain of sand called Earth.
And if we encounter intelligent life on another planet, I can assure you that they'll never have heard about the little Judean tribal god that you worship.

Why would that be an indication of God? What if we encounter alien races that are either totally atheist or believe in a vastly different way?
I'd say space travel will only serve to strengthen the atheist position.

No. That will make consider god even less, if that's possible. Besides, nothing does last forever and the human race won't either.

I would think the discovery of life on other planets would only reinforce the fact that there is, and never has been, any god. Since the bible talks nothing about god creating life anywhere else, and since the hardcore christians think the bible infallible, the discovery of life on another planet would further discredit the bible mythology.

You really think human beings will last that long? '
The human race will not live forever....
Why would believing in God be necessary?
emmm, in 500 years I will be dead and I wouldnt be able to consider God since I will be dead....

Assuming we could find a way to get to extrasolar planets, and spread life over our galaxy, and not encounter other "life" in our journeys, it would make me even more respectful for mankind, a unique phenomenon and the inventor of colorful fictitious ideas like god.

If you had to pay whoever it was who taught you how to 'think', you would be well within your rights to demand a complete refund.
You have just made a compelling argument for why resort to a 'god hypothesis' is unnecessary... and then imply that it should be taken as evidence for the existence of god.
Please Google for 'doublethink'.
