I am grateful first of all that Jesus died on the cross for my sin, and that I am able to walk with Him each day.
I am grateful for my wife of 51 years, who is still the sweetheart that I met in high school.
I am grateful for both of my children and their spouses who are all saved and working in their churches.
I am grateful for my three grandchildren, all of whom are a blessing to me. One is a senior in High School, plays basketball and already has offers from Harvard and Princeton, Ball State, Duke, North Carolina, the Air force and Naval Academies to name a few.
Thanks for asking, sometimes I get so caught up in making a living, that I fail to stop and thank the Lord for so many blessings.

Love, sunshine, clean water, hot showers. A home, the birds, flowers, the ocean, a body that functions, friends family and faith. Socks, a warm bed, open log fires, good wine. The senses. Oaks, beech, birch, poplar and fir trees. Snow, rainbows, cats dogs music - the opportunity to sail a lot. Laughter, sex, singing in pitch. Driving fast, freedom from compulsory sport. Freedom from being made to watch television. Special friends. Grateful for having grown up in America when she was great and free. Grateful for having seen over fifty countries in the world. Candles, soap and the smell of roses and most of all Oriental Lilies. Hugging - a lot. Wool, cotton, linen and leather. Pretty girls. Colors. Man the list is endless.
Of course I should be grateful - I did not make myself and did not make those things which I love most. All were provided for me / us without any merit or deserving on our part.
It will take a second.
