He didn't even try to see you much so what was there to 'die'? This little boy is shallow and likes to hurt the feelings of young vulnerable women who may like someone too quickly. I say all people are on probation for the first 5 months of any relationship like dating but in 3 months if he isn't seeking you out regularly than the baby booty only thinks he is a man. Don't take him or his 'feelings' seriously. I bet you in 7 years he will be parked infront of a TV, slobbering on his beer bottle telling himself he is too good for any woman and the only job he can get is auditioning for those cavemen in the Geico commercials!!! (He won't get the job because the Geico executives want someone with more class.) Keep a journal and keep a log on all the idiots you meet throughout your life and see the patterns of their behavior coming so you don't have to wait 3 months to kick these slobs to the curb. Besides, you'll need a good laugh with all the stress they bring into your life.

With it dieing within only three months, then it never would have worked. A relationship takes work from both of you, and it will not work if only one of you is trying. If he was not putting forth an effort already, then it never would have worked anyway. It is a good thing that you two saw this early on in the relationship instead of later. This spares your feelings to an extent. Could you imagine not seeing it until 10 years into the relationship? That is when the real pain would come from it.

I'm sorry =[.. if it was love, I doubt it would die, so I think you should be able to move on eventually without too much trouble. Take your time before getting in another relationship, because that could be a bit much. Focus on other important things in your life right now, spend more times with friends, try harder in school/work. Goodluck!

Take some college courses, get involved in community activities, go see a Wonder of the World; do something that will get your mind off of the ex and make you grow as a person before jumping into another relationship.
