If a man aged 26 had or wanted braces to correct small gaps in his teeth would that put you off dating him or finding him attractive. Honest answers please.
Good straight teeth just a few little gaps therefore braces needed.

no, course not. I actually think that would look very sweet! but I think after the age of about 18 what a person looks like becomes less important, and anyway, braces wont make a big difference to how you look anyway.

I would be impressed that a man took care of his teeth and did not come to me with some of the more prominant ones missing before the age of 40. Good for you that you are taking care of yourself. You don't want a woman to date who is so easily offended. If I see a man in a year or so with a great smile I will know that I have met you!!!

Bill is right. I had braces and my teeth were the ugliest things under the sun. Now they are pearly white and STRAIGHT! It is nice. I get commplements on them all the time. So wait till they come off. And anyway, the perfect guy for you wouldn't care if you had braces. Think about that!

It's OK...I really don't care as long a the guy is hot and caring.Its not such a big deal you know, maybe some girls find it not so cool...I actually recommend retainers first so it wont appear so uncool...'coz braces will look nerdy and childish especially with attention grabbing colours(vibrant)...There are white braces...choose those if possible

One of my friends had braces fitted when he was 25 and he managed to attract more women than before! He was told they made him look charismatic and distinguished!! Besides, they don't last forever and if curing gaps in teeth is going to make someone more confident in their appearance then I'd say def go for it!!

no wouldn't put me off as the man would just be trying to improve himself, i believe that it is what is on the inside that counts and how a man treats me, just think how sexy your smile will be when you have had the work done, I'm sure you look great now, and if having braces will give you more confidence then i am sure any lady will see past this and see what a great guy you are, good luck honey.

lol who cares...i've seen 50 year old people with braces. like im nowhere near moving out but i have braces and people say they look good on me. and if you dont like the gaps then braces are a solution. they will probably only be on for like a few months. nothing critical. i wish the best luck to you. Anyone who's put off by something as superficial as braces, which aren't even permanent and in my opinion, give a message that you value you health/appearance and willing to suffer short term inconvenience to obtain a goal isn't worth your time.
You are worth more than a shallow girl and I hope you find the right one for you.

i would a little bit, but he wont have to wear them for ever, and he would be correcting his faults,
so at the end of the day i would be more put off with a 26 year old with a big gap in his teeth

I'm not gonna lie.. it can be discouraging.. but I've dated someone with braces before.. and it's not all that bad.
If your into this person realize that sooner or later you will have to compromise sooner or later..you could trip up..fall.. scrape your chin...crack a tooth... or just one day have one eye brow higher than the other.. haha thing's will happen... can't be too picky.. let it slide... cause we all can't look good 34/7 .... 365 days .. sometimes.. you just can't be perfect...that's when they'll have the respect for you when that day comes.. just like you had the respect for them.
