No I don't believe in evolution. Evolution is a hypothesis that has never been proved. Evolution defies mathematical probability. Evolution defies laws of physics (second law of thermodynamics.)

Evolution claims, random change & natural selection make simple things spontaneously transform into more complex things without recourse to intelligent design. Chance and random changes simply do not produce higher levels of organization & complexity.

Evolution is a scientific theory, just like gravitation. Do you know what a scientific theory is?

"If the guy's religion is dependent on evolution being false, then it is a stupid religion and should be made fun of until he shuts up in public about his delusions or gets a religion that isn't so easily proven false." — Darby.

"Creationism is not a scientific alternative to natural selection any more than the stork theory is an alternative to sexual reproduction." — Hayes, 1996.

"Geology shows that fossils are of different ages. Paleontology shows a fossil sequence, the list of species represented changes through time. Taxonomy shows biological relationships among species. Evolution is the explanation that threads it all together. Creationism is the practice of squeezing one's eyes shut and wailing: 'does not!'" — Dr. Pepper.

"Ocean: A body of water occupying 2/3 of a world made for man — who has no gills." — Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary, 1911.

"Evolution is both fact and theory. Creationism is neither."

"By one count there are some 700 scientists with respectable academic credentials (out of a total of 480,000 U.S. earth and life scientists) who give credence to creation-science, the general theory that complex life forms did not evolve but appeared abruptly." — Newsweek, 1987.

"Creationists make it sound as though a 'theory' is something you dreamt up after being drunk all night." — Isaac Asimov.

"Nothing in biology makes sense except in the light of evolution." — Theodosius Dobzhansky (1973).

I don't believe in evolution, it simply is the truth; kind of like I don't believe in the sun, I know it exists, I see it everyday.

Evolution is a scientific theory.

As such it is not something to 'believe in'. It is a theory, you either accept or you don't.

It has no religious connotations except to those who are religious.

evolution is a fact, and thus it is not possible to believe in it. you can either accept it, or deny it.

it is the same like the theory of flight. people who accept it , fly. people who deny the ability to fly, they deny it even onboard of the plane, but still they fly :) I do not need to BELIEVE in theory of flight, I know it was proven and that it works. same with the evolution.

I most certainly do believe in evolution; because it has many creditable and plausible explanations to our origins.

Of course. It's a proven fact. Those who don't believe in it are ignoring the obvious glaring examples.

Yes. All the evidence points towards it, so i see no reason to refuse to believe what is basically a fact.

Like it really matters what I believe.

heck no, john. belief, in matters that can be settled by empirical investigation, is for intellectual cowards like you. i accept that it is a theory supported by evidence, one that would be no more controversial than gravity if it didn't conflict with your precious dogmas.
