Hi Kat, here is a message from my daughter:

"There's nothing to worry about. I made it when I was 12 and I didn't even speak much English then. In case of any problems or if you don't know what to do don't be afraid to ask the staff for help."

Good luck!

Have your parents call the airline and tell them that you are an Unaccompanied Minor and to make sure that you are treated as such. At check in they should confirm that again with the ticket agent at that point Air Canada (AC) should be looking out for you and your transfers. AC should take you to the gate and hand you off to the cabin crew. For your whole flight you should be handed off to AC personnel only.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE only talk to and go with uniformed Air Canada personnel and if you don't know where to go or what to do scream bloody murder they will help you then. Be safe and have fun.

There are plenty of staff at airports who can help you find the right places to go. Don't be shy about asking them or the stewards on your flights. They all know their way around. Just say "Excuse me can you help me find ........." . Make sure you have all your travel documents handy and write down which departure gate you leave from and what time you are boarding. Pay attention to announcements in case there are any changes to your flights. Relax and enjoy.Good luck!!!

Relax and breath. Tell yourself that your going to have a great time when you get there. The more you stress the more worried you get.
