Most likely not. I guess it would depend on how severe the dose was.If your talkin' bout a dose of the clap then prolly not , but if your talkin' bout A.I.D.S. then I'm goin' to go with yes.

The new regulations say that prostitution is a form of human slavery/trafficking and the US military has now passed a regulation that prostitutes are off limits to military personnel now.
More then likely it would not be a dishonorable discharge, but it would result in some type of punishment. More then likely an Article 15. It could eventually lead to a discharge.

Technically Yes because prostitution is now illegal in the military no matter where you are (even in Europe where it's legal in most countries). So if this "service man" was dumb enough to admit that he got it from a prostitute then he may face UCMJ action. Better to just say he got drunk at a bar and went home with someone he didn't plan on (That's about 75% of the military) and then he will just get a lecture about staying protected and a handful of condoms.

No, not even if he got AIDS, as long as he doesn't tell them that he paid for it. You are allowed to have sex in the Army, and if you have sex with ANYONE, not just prostitutes, you have that risk of catching something. And BTW, you can stay in the military with AIDS, you just can't be deployed or do anything other than desk work. A friend of mine caught HIV in Kosovo, they moved him to the training room and he didn't deploy to either Afghanistan or Iraq.

No, he will not get a dishonorable discharge. I don't even know how the C.O. could find out about it? Is he going to tell you, you're going to sick call too much?

Depending on the disease he contracts, he may end up with a "dishonorable discharge". The discharge may be cleared up with a course of antibiotics.
