"If you are not with me, you are my enemy." -Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader

"Only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes" -Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi

If only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes then God, Jesus, Moses, and every believer is a Sith Lord.

Things are not always so black and white. I'll answer your Q with another Q:

Which of the following two people is MORE of a servant of the dark side?

(a) Someone who believes there is a God but who sins without regard to what their god might want (ie, being callous and uncaring ... not just making mistakes)?

OR

(b) Someone who honestly does not find it within themselves to believe in a god, but who wants to do the right thing, from an inner feeling of morality?

No, because of the fact that is not any longer a based practice. The darkish factor of what? I do exactly no longer take place to think of there is a few massive bearded dude interior the sky that administers the Universe. that is not any longer a club, that is not any longer a team... that is merely the act of finding by historic texts that individuals use to base their traditions on and finally end: you recognize what? No. i do no longer think of it befell that way in any respect.

I think that even atheists can be saved. I have a friend who says that he can't be sure that what's in the Bible is true but that he will live a life he was living before and that is a life where he is trying to be the best person he can be. He doesn't drink, gives charity, doesn't fornicate and so on. In my opinion he is better than most of those that have on them name Christan labeled. I know what the scriptures say but I think that no one can do right except those that believe. One day we'll know wedder or not I was right or wrong but I'm sure of one thing now and that is that God will make the best desizion there is. God bless you.

You really don't get the whole "force" idea, do you? The force is the energy of the universe, not some judge/father/executioner.

apparently george wanted star wars to usher in a new age of respect for religion. i dunno if it worked in general, but for me it had the opposite effect. sure it was a bit of childish fun and all, but here in the real world it seems kind of silly.

Nope.

Theism is.
All that emotion and lack of self-control. Lack of reason.

Best not to become an apprentice of Darth Jesus.
