I just happen to agree with the teachings of Christ, and feel that they are more applicable to my life than what I know of the teachings of Mohammed.
I have no problem with Muslims as a whole, nor do I believe that you are all terrorists. That's a silly generalization. I simply feel that Christianity is a better choice for MY life.

As a Baha'i I love and revere Islam and Muhammad, as I do all the great divinely revealed religions and their founders, Hindu, Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Bab'i, and Baha'i. I choose to stay a Baha'i rather than Muslim for the same reason Christians choose to stay Christian rather than follow Judaism -- that the latter is the fulfillment of the former. Religion is progressive, and the later chapters in the book of religion fulfill the former chapters. The day of Prophecy has finished. Muhammad, indeed, was the last Prophet. Today is a new age, the age of fulfillment, and Baha'u'llah's claim is great, stunning, astonishing. His claim is that he is the inaugurator of the promised age of the unity all religions, a new epoch in the history of humanity, promised in the holy writings of all the world's great religions and many first people's religions. Check it out. You could find it amazing too!

Muslims believe that we must live in peace with everyone, this is how i was brought up, harmony and peace is essential in our religion, we believe that as women we should be modest and not wear skimpy, revealing clothes. We DON'T believe that Jesus died on the cross, (if you believe that Jesus is the son of God, then why would he allow his "son" to die on the cross in such a painful way?).
However saying all of this, the question originally asked is a bit hard to answer, its just like a christian or Jew asking why it is all Muslims don't convert to their religion. if you were brought up in a religion and that's what you believed, it would be seen as a sin to convert right??

why don't you all become Christians?
On women- Muslims do not consider women of equal dignity with men. Men can marry many women ordinarily if they can satisfy the requirements but not vice versa. But women ordinarily cannot. it's unfair.
On food- What is wrong intrinsically with pork that Muslims would prohibit it. All that God has created is good meant to serve man.
On drinks - What is wrong with social drinking that Muslims prohibit liquor? It helps us to relax but of course too much drinking is also prohibited among Christians.
On enemies - whether it is lived or not, is the teaching that we must love others even our enemies, embraced by Muslims?
etc.,etc.,etc.

Because I want to serve the only true God. I want to live in fellowship with Him forever. I do not want to experience the second death, i.e. eternal torment in the lake of fire.
Allah or Muhammed never died for my sins; they were never resurrected and given dominion over all creation...Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, did that for me. I serve Him.
Allah is a false God in a false religion that has deceived millions. I call on you and all Muslims to seek the truth, repent, and accept Jesus Christ as Lord of your life!

Because I am an individual, not a clone.
Because I am sceptical of everything I CAN see, much less that which I cannot.
Because I value my privacy.
Because I resent any who seek to put themselves above me for whatever reason.
Because I don't have enough free time as it is, let alone enough to splice in unnecessary rituals as well.
Because I enjoy eating pork and bacon.
Because I like to see women rather less covered than the average ninja postbox.
Basically... because I disagree with EVERYTHING Islam is and what it stands for.
I would rather be tortured to death than lose my mind to Islam.

Because many of us consider ourselves to be "Mutmen", non-muslims who follow God. There is an entire book in the Koran that describes us, look us up if you'd like.

I'll ask you in return:
Why don't you become a Christian ?
what kind of question is this?!
Do you seriously think you're posing a convincing argument here?
btw, I'm Muslim.

I think it not the correct religion. I think Muhammed was a fraud and he took parts of Judaism and Christianity and came up with a religion that allowed for gross misinterpretation and allowed outright violence against those who do did not believe as he did. I think that it has been the source of great misery in the world and I want no part of it.
That is the honest answer.

how cute - you probably have no idea how quaint this question looks. it is up to muslims to provide some logical (or better yet, evidence-based) reason FOR converting to islam. thus far, they have not done this. i have read parts of the quran - they say it's divinely inspired - i can't imagine why they say that. it is no more divinely inspired than any other so-called "holy" book, in my estimation.
