"The belief that Christ was married has never been official Church doctrine. It is neither sanctioned nor taught by the Church. While it is true that a few Church leaders in the mid-1800s expressed their opinions on the matter, it was not then, and is not now, Church doctrine."
Andrew Skinner, Ph.D., BYU Dept. of Religion: "There is nothing in the canonical New Testament, there is nothing in restoration scripture, there is really even nothing in non-canonical sources that you can use as evidence that Jesus was married or he wasn't married. The sources are silent on that aspect."

Like other have already mentioned, many in the church speculate that he was married and possibly even to Mary Magdalene. But is not official doctrine.
Some stories that lead to Jesus possibly being married come from the bible are him turning water into wine. Why would his own mother be worried that there wasn't enough wine at the wedding, unless it was his. And Mary Magdalene being at the tomb ,why would she care so much.
The church also believes in eternal marriage, and it would go to show that Jesus followed the same concept if even remotely true.
In the end though it really doesn't matter. Interesting, yes. But these concepts are not required nor needed to go to "heaven". So it's not preached or taught since it doesn't matter.

Debated theories exist not only in LDS, but pretty much ALL God worshipping religions, where some within religious ranks DO believe Mary Magdalene may well have been Jesus' wife....and children were produced from his marriage.
It IS also speculated direct ancestrial bloodlines of Jesus and Magadalene are alive to this day.....somewhere out there.

Some women were watching from a distance. Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome.
These are the women Jesus was suppose to be married to (from the journal of discourses). I think the mormons wereglad when the di vinci code came out.

There is no official doctrine about it. We don't know if Christ was married, it would make sense that He was, but all that is just speculation.
We know that Mary Magdalene was close to both Christ and His mother. Mary M. was around during most of Christ's ministry. We know they were good friends, and she was the first person that Christ appeared to after His resurrection. What that means for sure, no one can say.

Jesus might in no way have married. better halves and young ones have been an element of a guy's possessions -- merely like the farm amd his herds and flocks. Jesus owned no longer something...he grew to become into dedicated to the will of the father. Neither the Catholic Church -- nor any of the jap Orthodox church homes -- have self belief that Jesus grew to become into ever married -- or that his mom Mary ever married for that remember.

The church has no official doctrine.
I believe that Jesus and Mary Magdeline were married, I believe that there is a lot of proof in the bible that they were married. He probably is married because it is a commandment- he followed the commandment to be baptized why wouldn't he follow that commandment.

jesus forgave a woman that everyone wanted to stone to death for being a whore she came and sat at his feet learned from him and loved him and accepted him as the annointed messiah...
She didn't sleep with him and the thought is absurd....there aren't 3 serious christians on the planet that would begin to entertain such an absurd thought as this .. no christ never married // no he didn't have kids.. where does this crap come from ?? doesn't anyone ever read scripture ??? do you think the apostles would lightly skipped over such details ?? are there any sane people left on the internet ??
