I thought that when it kicked off in The Balkans. But no. If you mean mid-east, doubtful.
Now, the whole Fiji/Samoa business has me really worried.

We aren't in a world war yet as there are no major powers on the Arab side. The next will be the 5th World War. The first world war was actually the Napoleonic wars which had fighting all over the world involving all of the then world powers. The second was WW1, the third WW2 and the fourth, the cold war

Not from where I'm sitting - all I'm witnessing is men in suits and a lovely view of London!

Why, has there been a new war break out since I left the house?

As it has been stated, this is WW4.

And no, you'd have to be a ___ to think it's about a few radical Islamist's.

It's about a natural resource that requires a mass extinction and millions of years to appear....OIL, plain and simple. It's what runs the world economy. The oil is going to peak, if it already hasn't (5-10 years predicted) and the middle-east has the most of it.

What was the first gulf war about?
Why do you think we're even over there now?
Why do you think we back Israel and Saudi Arabia with billions in military hardware?
Why do you think Bush has said we'll be there for at least the next 10 years?
Why do you think we have our eyes on Iran and Israel is messing with Syria?
Why do you think the Russians have been greatly investing into their military again?

We already won World War III. Some people called it the Cold War. We're into World War IV. Norman Podhoretz has written the best book on it so far - http://www.americanthinker.com/2007/09/why_we_are_in_iraq_a_review_of.html

we'll be far worse than imaginable in the next 200 years......there will be a nuclear holocaust that will ruin billions of lives....china, india, all the rest of asia, america, europe, and other heavily populated areas will be the victims.....all because of the segregation of wealth in the world.....the greedy created this evil world, no more land to find, therefore no more opportunity, america was the last hope for the old days, but as you can see we corrupted this land beyond what was corrupt back in the old days, we'll just have to take everything day by day and save every penny we can cause this world will be glad to take everything away from everybody

this is WW4, WW3 was the so "called" Cold War, which was plenty hot in some places like Nam, etc.

also remember that the next war is never like the last war, example:

WW1 was trench warfare between principals,

WW2 mechanized warfare between principals,

WW3 (Cold War) was indirect fighting of principals using secondary/satellite countries, undercover ops, etc to do the fighting, thus avoiding direct fighting and as a consequence a nuclear war.

..and today WW4, world extremist Muslim ideology against anyone not like themselves, with a worldwide Califate as ultimate goal.

so yes, we are in a world war, it is just 4 not 3!

Though come to think of it, there was a mysterious meteorite that crashed in Peru that was emitting pungent smells. perhaps that was the start.. yikes wheres my gas mask!.

it's going to get bad, really bad.
it will determine the fate of the planet.
