Iran isn't in the Middle East. It's in Asia.

I think it's because that part of the world is generally the least free, most culturally backward, and most intolerant place on earth. You sort of can't help criticizing the people when dealing with the civilization they've created.

Because most of the Media and The Internet servers are owned and run by the Christian and Jewish lobbies..

and they have to achieve thier political ends thru mindless propoganda and feed thier people something to say that the govt is doing a great Job

Earlier it was the USSR that was the Satan, once that disappeared, you had to prop up an enemy to show your spendings are all right and u need a consistant one at that,

so what does the west do, They creat an enemy, Islaam is readily available.. so use the Muslims and name them terrorists and Fundamentalists and provoke reactions,

Once the reactions come, then you are all very holy Christians waging just wars In Iraq killing just about a few Million men women and Children, then U destroy Afghanistaan and kill a few million more...and You are not facists even..

If the asker had lost a few of his own parents or children in the war and justified the west, I would stongly appreciate..

because people who do that are ignorant and ethnocentric. when "certain" kinds of people find out that i go to the middle east a lot they ask really dumb questions like: "why don't you learn a USEFUL language instead of Arabic?" or "do they even have flushing toilets there?" "Do they have cars?" "do they all ride camels?" "Did you see any terrorists?" "what do they use for money?"(paper and coin representing gold in government bank.NOT rocks and shrunken heads of infidels as some would assume!)
Let's face it. it's not peace time and given the horrors that lead to war (wrong or not there we are anyway) I understand that it is a hot topic. People forget it was a select group of A- Holes who did it, not all Arabs.
But these things are all in cycles any way.. first the natives (my PEOPLE!) then the "blacks"(of any origin), the Irish, the Chinese (think boom towns of 1800s), the Japanse, Russians, Italians, Mexicans... I can (and have) gone on and on. Somebody is always getting the S#!^^% end of the stick.

Because the masses need someone to blame for their problems other than themselves.
There were the Communists in the 50's, the Indians in the 1870's, the Torries (Pro-English) in the 1780's, and so on. Now, people blame the Arabs and Iranians for their problems.

Because the UK is becoming more xenophobic than it was 100 years ago. The west expects everybody to share their views and morals, and find it difficult to adjust to cultural differences. A bit heavy for thiis time in the morning, I need to lie down now!
