it is also interesting to note that the messiah and prophets of abrahamic traditions are supposed to be proponents of absolute truth yet they instigate ideals and values that are unique to the middle east.
i suppose not even god's spokespeople are immune to the effects of culture.

As that is where the world population was at the time.
I assume you are talking about the Christian God and His prophets. I'm sure many pagans from other places had their prophets.
I know Baal had prophets and I think the Egyptians had there own.
That's still med east though.
Kali in India. No much later.
I guess just a regional event.

Hope that helps
By the way, I have just noticed that you have given an irrelevant post to one of my questions. You claim that all these people I have mentioned claimed they were God. None of them did with the possible exception of Krishna. You appear to have a very narrowminded view of the prophethood. Neither Moses nor Mohammed said that all the prophets would come from the Middle East; it is merely wishful thinking on your part!

Depends upon the soil.Asia has a kind of soil where some people are borne with a propensity to become Prophets and others with even a greater nativity, to believe them and become their followers. There can't be prophets without followers.

Prophecy belongs to tribalism, and if there are any prophets in the modern world, they're likely on medication.

No one has been very helpful, so far, I think, in answering your question, I see.
God chose Israel and the Jews to proclaim his name in the first place, therefore when it came time to reveal whom he was ( Jesus), it was those that converted to Christianity from Judaism, that were to be his disciples.
Paul was sent out from there to preach the Gospel to the gentiles, that is us.
Trust this helps
