I put this question not to offend anyone. An Evangelist in a TV Programme put a testimony of an old man with his wife on the stage. The oldie said on arrival at an international airport his wife suddenly collapsed and fell flat on the ground. Then Jesus came down and took her soul away and for the next three hours according to the lady Jesus showed her around heaven and after three hours He put her back to the body to the relief of her sorry-stricken husband. Now I put these questions for your intellectual assessment. Why the Airport authorities allow the husband to keep the dead body at the terminus for 3 hours? Was he sure that she was taken up by Jesus for entertaining her and did Jesus tell him so as He had in the past appeared and talked to so many fraudulent Evangelists? I reacted putting the entire thing in my blogspot; but why Christians chose to remain silent? Real faith honours God and do not insult Him for cash and favours?

I am a Christian, and i have a colleague at work who is a Christian too. Sometimes i stand aghast when he talks of the religion(Christianity here......) in terms of his assoication with these Evangelists who mainly stem from the South(again no offence to any South Indian). He believes that Jesus Christ is the true God and all other gods followed in other religions are fake. Just this idea of his puts enough disgust in me to even try to fathom what things go on in his head....Despite telling him that to each one, one's own religion holds important and probably a Hindu might me thinkin the same way about his Hindu God, so how in heaven's name can we mortals conclude whose God is the true one. Moreover, he is just 24 but spends half his time going to church and related activities. the only books he reads are spitual books, and he feels i should read them as well, instead of my Paul Coelho series...... I am a level headed person, i follow spritualism in a way that speaks and practises of the very foundation of any religion that we seem to forget in our search of The ONE........that which is asked of any religion...... tolerance, and morevoer it is a personal choice ...the way you want to intepret it, but this guy with my views feels I dont believe in God and am not a true Christian.......he questions my belief and opinion on these mass evangelism that goes on, especially in the South......i am so baffled by his views cos i have never met anyone like him before......At the end finding his views repulsive, i told him off saying that in today's world especially to be an atheist is the best thing one could do to avoid conflicts, than have over zealous believers like him. Well i think he is a convert....cos i have never actually heard any person who is a Christian talk like him.........

It is such idiotic stories spun by certain overenthusiatic evangelists and advertisers that make religons a mockery.Jesus himslef is reporetd to have gone to heaven wiht flesh , blood and bones secretly whre is he is reported to be comming soon openly .why dio dn he go to heaven in he presence f all openly? wopud God hve rejected him? unfortunat eman, he himself was not sure why god forsook him.as he cried "Eli eli , lama sabasthanani?" before he was taken by the Roman guards to the governor .His disciples also lied to the Raoman guards stateiong that they did not know Jesus with the intention of saving him.they told a lie and they are said tobe the disciples of a person claiming to be agod .how would you believe in the gospel of the liars?
There are defects snd dificiencies in all religions but they vary in degrees depending on the intelligence of the persons who made them or conceivesd the concepts .The world is much and very much older than the modern popular gods !..

I am not sure what statement you are requesting judgement of. The story is ignorant, has so many holes in it that it is insulting, so why would calling it insulting be blasphemy? Are you saying that you reacted to what the old man said or what was said about the whole story? Let's see, why would christians remain silent? Well, one could call it respect of other's opinions and beliefs...or lack of

Nimit, did you refer it to concern evangelist?

I have also noticed many inadequate comparisons, some on God TV. when I pointed out to them, they don't bother to reply. It shows their lacking in their home work, like checking their statements before they could let out.

That message was telecasted as if, he was speaking to his congregation, there he made this statement, "You(to his congregation) are greater than Moses, because Moses(of old tesmt.) was, servant of God, but you are a child of God because of 'born again'.

I pointed out to him by a mail, this 'born again' which Jesus mentioned to an old tesmt., man or to a new tesmt. man(Nicodemus)?

These are half backed, they do it for their belly, if not, they could have checked them selves.

This we call us advertising and marketing. Without a gimmik you can not market yourself. So you hire people to vouch for your products. The same way people appear on stages to tell the audience how Jesus came and patched a hole in his heart yesterday night.

Mat. 7:

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Any who perform evil in the name of God will be judged.
I am not their judge.
