Here is a man's prospective:

Men probably think about sex more than women do. Men tend to be more sexual by nature, but women probably think about sex more than they lead us on. Depending on where you live and what cultrue you were brought up in, it isn't looked highly if a woman is too open sexually.

Here's what I found on WebMD:

"Sex Drive: How Do Men and Women Compare?
Experts discuss the differences between male sex drive and female sex drive.

The simplest way to capture the differences between men’s and women’s sex drives is to consider how you’d answer this test: create a sentence using the words "sex" and "love."

If you’re a woman, odds are your sentence goes something like this: “When two people understand each other, trust each other, and love each other, then the sex is the best.” If you’re a man, chances are your sentence more closely resembles this: “I love sex.”

It’s a stereotype, it’s a cliché, and more often than not, it’s true. “We like to think of men having the higher sex drive -- it’s not always true, but more often, it is,” says Eva Ritvo, MD, vice chairman in the department of psychiatry and behavioral science at the Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami.

“Each person’s sex drive is like an appetite: Some people spend their whole life in the kitchen and think about food all the time; some people can skip lunch,” says Ritvo, who is also chair of the department of psychiatry and behavioral medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Florida.

As a rule, men don’t like to skip lunch. But that’s only the beginning of the story."

I hope It helps.

I believe that women and men think about sex with the same frequency in the beginning. BUT, we all know that men and women have slightly different requirements to get "sexually satisfied" (eg. Its easier for men to have good sex then women, ITS TRUE!)

The fact is many men jump into sex. They omit foreplay, proceed with the action, and after they unload, they soon fall asleep, so many of them do that. This results in the women, not being able to reach their full sexual climax (their partners get done much faster then them). This in turn results in women thinking and feeling the urge less because somewhere on a sub-consious level, sex isn't all that great to them. On the other hand, some women, who are able to get "good sex" tend to think of it more.

This is my personal opinion after asking many women this question throughout the years.

Lol i think it just depends on the individual. Some think about it allot some don't lol. it also depends on the age, surrounding lol. Like for me between the ages of 15 and 18 was all about sex sex sex. But around 19 it started to die down, Now i don't even care lol.. Its still great, its just doesn't mean the world to me anymore hahaha. When i want it i go get it, specially when i am stressed out hahaha plus i sleep really good after hahahaha.

I say its another 50/50 type of situation. I mean there are some overly horny women out there as there are some overly horny men out there. So that is just how it is to me. I mean they can make up as many surveys and polls as they wish to but it doesn't change the fact that men and women are pretty much one in the same on nearly all these relationship issues or even sexual issues. Just have to deal with it as it comes along.

Men think about sex 25 hours a day.

Let's put it this way. I don't get the image of sex from everything that I see, and most men I know do. Sure I think about it at appropritate times, but I am not consumed by these thoughts. Sometimes I can not have an intelligent conversation with a man, but to have him staring at my chest while I am trying to discuss business! I don't stare at his dic# while I am talking to him!!! lol

I think it's true and has to do with men's subconcious desire to reproduce, whereas women do also have that but they also have like instincts to care for their children.. But I'm sure it depends on the person. I'm someone with a very little natural sex drive so I almost never think about sex.

It is more highly with Men than Women because a Woman matures faster than a Man.

I think men and women think about sex equally, but men are more willing to participate. Society has taught women that excessive sex is dirty, so women hold back.
